Spirit of Christmas Bazaar
Fall is here and that means the Spirit of Christmas Bazaar is only 10 weeks away. This year’s date for the bazaar is Saturday, November 9, 2024. With the cooler weather on the horizon and most summer vacations over, we hope that your thoughts are on craft ideas. Pinterest, as well as catalogs and craft stores are helpful tools for suggestions and ideas.
As you consider contributing items for the bazaar and are unsure what things are popular seller, please call any of the committee members or ask ILC women and men who have contributed in the past. Newer members also have a fresh perspective, which will enhance the bazaar with unique ideas.
will be a chair committee meeting on Monday, September 16th at 6:00 p.m. for all the various bazaar areas. Everyone, in addition to those chairs, is welcome to attend to share your ideas and to answer any of your questions. We have about 16 sub committees that are chaired by some outstanding ladies. In the next newsletter these committees will be listed. At this time we do have an opening for someone to chair the baking of the rolls. We hope you find an area of involvement. It is a great fellowship.
In the March newsletter, it was stated that the 3 current Chair gals will be retiring from that position after this year. We are looking for someone who has the enthusiasm to take over this chairmanship along with 1 or 2 other people next year. This fall that individual would join the 3 of us to learn what is involved in the planning and guidelines. Please prayerfully consider filling this position to keep our Spirit of Christmas Bazaar a wonderful ministry at Immanuel.
