Youth CREW Ministry-January 2020
All praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ❤
As many are greeting the new year with a sigh of relief that the holidays are behind us, some are feeling the distinct chill of the winter ahead. Keep the connections and relationships in the forefront of your daily lives.
A wise person taught me that depression is upset about the past; anxiety is upset about the future.
Bring God’s Word with you, in the present, which is a gift Scripture, cherish it, devote yourself to it, invest your time and energy to it. Your youth will thank you for it❤ help give them the tools that they need to move into the future AND a filter in which to view the past in a healthy manner.
Do not wait for your youth to “figure it out” on their own. Help them with the information so that they can make informed decisions, rather than educated guesses. We do not talk to our youth about makes and models of cars and expect them to be able to drive safely. Nor do we hand them a driver’s manual and then have them get behind the wheel.
Then why would we be that way about spirituality? Spirituality: a way of living in relationship with God
Psalm 150:6 Let everyone who has breath praise the LORD!
I urge EVERYONE to view this time as it should be 20-20
Faith is believing in advance what can only make sense looking back.
Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ❤
