Family Ministry includes both Children’s Ministry and Youth Ministry.
Children’s ministry includes Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Third Grade Bibles, and First Communion.
YOUTH MINISTRY
Youth Ministry includes Wednesday night youth group and confirmation nights, Confirmation for 10th grade students and graduate recognition for those graduating from high school.
Confirmation is for students grades 7-9 or any older students that have not been confirmed.
Confirmation: Confirmation will meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30. A meal will be provided. We will be using curriculum from https://lutherhouseofstudy.org/confirmation/. The students will be studying “Luther’s Small Catechism” which includes The Apostles’ Creed, The 10 Commandments, and the Lord’s Prayer. You can view this curriculum at the link above.
Youth Group: Youth group will meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month and is open to all students grades 7-12. Each night a meal will be served. The doors to the church will be open at 5:00pm and the evening will begin with the meal at 5:30 and end at 7:30. If you can provide a meal for one or more of these nights, please contact Nancy Heise at 218-838-7004.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Immanuel Lutheran Church Sunday School classes are currently suspended during our transition period. Children are always welcome in our worship space.
